What can you really say about the now ubiquitous Kindle e-reader. I purchased one a couple of months ago but never quite got around to reading any full length books on it. I finished a book earlier in the week & was unsure of what to read next. Well, switch on the Kindle & go to the Amazon store. Browse & select book. Click buy & it automatically downloads on wi-fi. Ten minutes later engrossed in a new book.
Jawbone Icon Headset - Product Review

I recently upgraded my phone to the new iPhone & I thought it would be a good idea to also upgrade my old Nokia bluetooth headset. I know - these are dorky devices that you look like a blonker using but I would prefer to look a gob-shit then get penalty points for driving while using a phone. I seen a Jawbone Icon headset on sale for €30 & decided to give it try. Usually these units are €90. Jawbone is one of those up & coming companies, that was initially known for their headsets but have recently moved into the bluetooth speaker market with their JamBox & Big JamBox models. These speakers are quite pricey but always get rave reviews.

Lensbaby Composer Pro & Sweet 35 - Product Review

Lensbaby is a company that is increasing difficult to ignore. They must have a substantial marketing budget that they are now spending across photography sites & magazines. The company has been around for a while producing relatively inexpensive lens that produce unusual effects. They have recently stepped up their game & are now starting to produce higher spec & higher priced products. I have up to now resisted buying one of their lens, as I couldn't quite commit in terms of answering the question - would I get genuine use out of the lens.
